Mrs. Mary Eileen LONG, 34, of New Market, died at 8:30 a.m. Teusday in Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. SHe had been in failing health the past two years and seriously ill for two months. Born Sept 20, 1926 in Boone County, a daughter of David and Delia Booher Emmert. She married Joseph V. Long April 9, 1949 at New Ross. Mrs. Long was a member of Parkersburg Christian Church and graduate of Ladoga HS. Survivors include her husband, two daughters, Mercie Elaine and Joy Vania, both at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. David Emmert of Crawfordsville; four sisters, Mrs. Merle McCoy and Mrs. Lucille Brumitt, Indianapolis; Mrs. Bernice MIller, Jamestown and Mrs. Cathleen Long; and Linda Kay Stoner who resides at the Long residence. She was preceded in death by a sister. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Friday, Parkersburg Christian Church with burial in Ladoga Cemetery. - kbz
